Horrible Racist Tells Black Woman ‘Go to the Back of the Bus’ (Video)

Ahh, “post-racial” America! Don’t you love it? The GOP may have declared racism over, but we know differently–largely because of people like duck arousal expert Phil Robertson, domestic terrorist Cliven Bundy and former Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who feels that his girlfriend have proven that it has survived.

No matter how many slurs are thrown about, instances of overt racism we see, voting regulations are repealed, or KKK recruitment flyers are distributed, the right-wing “patriots” will claim–ad nauseum–that racism is a thing of America’s past. Or, of course, they will simply sling the charge of “race-baiting” at you if you point it out.

One thing one does not quite expect, however, is for a white man to approach a black woman and demand that she go to the back of the bus, as is shown in a video taken in New York. After the older Caucasian “gentleman” ordered the woman to move to the back of the bus (invoking the name of the great Donald sterling, no less), other passengers got involved–and we are surprised that they were all able to resist the urge to throw this bigoted piece of trash out of a window.

10. There are a couple of things that make me go question the authenticity but I think it's legit.

What raises questions is that it begins with audio only and then there is audio and video, so there was some editing involved. The next being the bus driver not doing anything at all which was super weird.

Now on the flip side I find it hard to believe that they were able to get some random people to participate in this, most of the people did not act like they knew one another. The other thing is people were really confused on what was happening and even though he was being a bigoted racist you could tell people were using restraint. I think that this was generally an authentic case of some dumb bigot trying to start something. Who knows maybe he was armed and was hoping he could egg a black man into hitting him so he could shoot them.

I will say the people on the bus should have called 911 right away when this started going down since the bus driver was doing a whole lot of jack and shit to protect the passengers.

He had no right to ask her to move, but touching her escalated the situation.

The only thing that saved the racist from getting beaten was the woman in the tan suit. She took control and kept the men who were ready to hand him his ass from getting into trouble. She should get an award for keeping the conflict from getting out of hand.

Can anybody read what it says on the racist's bag? I could never find a clear shot of it. The best I could get was maybe UAL UABT but I don't find anything on Google for those initials/words.
