What’s hilarious is how “American Exceptionalism” claims the U.S. is *SO* above everybody else, how pure, ideal, perfect we are, how we are not like banana republics (who’s Chris CHRISTIE?), how fair and democratic we are, so how is it that all-things-old-are-new-again, ignorant of History means reliving it, and here we have the Star Chamber and the Inquisition all new again. Oh, today’s news is that threats against him are being investigated by the Capitol Police, because he’s a wingnut VICTIM. Because he’s such a GOOD person.

He couldn't understand why anyone would have a problem with a mostly-Republican Benghazi commission, because, of course, they're only looking for the truth. The truth is non-partisan. Which is why they've established a purely partisan commission.
