The Benghazi Sex Scandal

Can someone take a minute and explain the Benghazi "scandal" too me?
I know the general plot vaguely - An attack on an Embassy on 9-11 / Dead Americans / A motion picture / Hillary Clinton ...

The GOP has really sank their teeth into this "scandal", yet no one can explain exactly what the "scandal" is? They just repeat Benghazi louder.

Perhaps this "scandal" has legs?

Is there any sexual ties to this "scandal"? Now that would be something for the GOP!

I think we are in for a summer of Benghazi. Too bad it isn't a sex scandal.

While the president was chopping wood, and ignoring a Presidential Daily Briefing saying Osama Bin Laden DETERMINED to strike America, Al Qaeda attacked and killed over 3000 Americans.

Wait, you meant Benghazi.

Oh yeah, 4 people died at the hands of pissed off protesters and terrorists because the CIA was fucking around where they shouldnt be.

Or did you mean the THIRTEEN embassy attacks and FIFTY FOUR dead while W was president?

5. They think Obama and Hillary intentionally did not do enough to prevent/stop it.

Never mind that this was not an embassy, but an outpost where the CIA was doing shit they shouldn't have been doing. Never mind that Congress, Republicans specifically voted not to provide additionalfunding for embassy's and outposts security. They also accuse Obama and Susan Rice of intentionally misleading the American people because it was initially reported that the attack occurred as a result of protests of a controversial video that was out there at the time. They think the Administration lied and are now trying to cover it all up.


This is what I understand of The Great Bengazi Scandal. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

7. As far as I can tell . . .

Four Americans died, including an ambassador. (First one killed in the line of duty in a very long time.) In spite of the fact that the attack was ongoing, no one called in the military to rescue them. Meanwhile, the president was apparently NOT in the situation room, but was doing debate prep in another part of the WH. Oh, and then they sent out Susan Rice to the Sunday shows to say it was all due to an Internet video.

3. My understanding about the "scandal" part,

is that the White House said the attack was a reaction to a video posted on YouTube.

Since it was 2 months before the election, some people think Obama refused to call it a "terrorist attack" because if he had, he would have appeared weak on terrorism and ergo, lost the election.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, please. I have a very hard time seeing the "scandal" part of this, also.

9. The scandal part of the scandal is that no one cared about their scandal.

Because the right called it a terrorist attack immediately anyways, called him weak anyways, and Romney lost the election anyways. They are pushing this issue because they somehow think you'll magically care now 2 years later with no new information. They live in their own little bubble world and can't step out of it for a minute to realize no one is talking about this issue outside of the bubble. We didn't care then, we don't care now, and we still have no clue what the scandal in the scandal is. Although I strongly suspect the real scandal to them is our lack of caring. They demand we care! LOL
