Donald Sterling Setup By His Wife?

Does anyone think Shelly Sterling setup her own husband? It was reported this morning that Shelly Sterling is trying to keep the Los Angeles Clippers by claiming the sanctions are against her husband and not against her, or other members of her family.

When I heard that Shelly Sterling was trying to keep the team I thought maybe she released the tapes of her husband in the hopes that she would be able to get the team for herself. Maybe she just got tired of her husbands cheating and decided to take the team from him.

I realize that she could just be trying to keep family ownership of the team. However, it would not surprise me if it ever came out that she had a hand in the release of the recording.

Or does he talk like that all the time and somebody just got tired of it?

2. Talking About the Release of the Tapes

I was wondering if she found out the tapes were out there, got them, and released them herself in order to damage him. I could be wrong, but I was just wondering.

is to get the team

It's been suggested the girlfriend had a financial motive

maybe it was done to expose what a horrible person he is because they (whoever it was) are tired of living around it

I don't know if the wife or the girlfriend 'set him up', but his racism was apparently an 'open secret' for decades, and someone finally decided it was time to use it against him.

He asked for their conversations to be recorded because he had a hard time remembering what he said.

A man did something terrible! A scheming woman must be behind it! His girlfriend, no his wife. I bet they were all in on it, they plan this stuff at the lady meetings, while synchronizing their menstrual clocks.

Did she make him discriminate against black, hispanic and asian tenants in his apartments too?

If reports are true, neither should have ownership.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Shelly Sterling played a role in a housing discrimination lawsuit involving a Los Angeles apartment complex owned by the Sterlings, who have been married for 50 years. The federal lawsuit, initiated by tenant Darrell Rhodes in 2007, resulted in a $2.765 million settlement to the Justice Department. As part of the agreement, the Sterlings didn’t admit any wrongdoing, the paper said.

“In a 2009 deposition, a tenant at one of the Sterling’s apartment buildings in Los Angeles County said that Rochelle Sterling called him a “black m—f—” during a discussion at the building.”
“I asked her again, I asked her, ‘would you reduce the rent?’” Darrell Rhodes said in the deposition. “And she said, ‘who do you think you are, you black m—f—.’

“The way in which she said m—f— was more lower voiced, under her breath. She said black loud enough for me to hear, she said mother loud enough for me to hear. F— part was a little lower. I had to look at her lips to hear her say it. And I did.”
