Every Worker Is Not Going To Have Advanced Education - Only About 30% Have Advanced Ed.

It is true that education is important. But every worker is not going to have advanced education. Does that mean that unskilled workers and semi skilled workers must live in poverty because they are not advanced educated.

Most of our jobs do not require a degree or advanced education. For example dump truck drivers, janitors, cleaners and other occupation are very important. Even more mediocre and necessary jobs should be paying a living wage.

What exactly is a living wage, who should get it, and how do we pay for it? Demo_Chris May 2014 #1

Being a machinist, welder, or carpenter requires more education than being a "social media manager", but the latter requires education only because HR departments need some arbitrary mechanism to sort through the pile of applications.
