Detroit Grandmother survives mugging, despite being shot four times

Paris Ainsworth, a Detroit woman with four grandchildren, was shot four times during an attempted mugging but was successfully able to fight off her assailants by employing her own concealed weapon. Ainsworth returned fire, wounding at least one of the muggers, both of whom were taken into custody at a local hospital, when seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
