I just had a woman running for the Justice Court ...

come to my door.

She introduced herself and said, looking at her clipboard, "I can see you are a strong Republican voter, so ..."

I cut her off and said, "I am not a strong Republican voter, but I am troubled that you would use partisanship as a hook in a non-partisan race ... Justice is not partisan."

She walked away ... but she did leave me a pencil with her name on it.
