As discussion of climate change continues, the chance that one party will be reduced to insulting Al Gore approaches 1.0.

Really. I find this willingness to engage in political claptrap while taking no action at all suicidal. I was reading an article a couple of days ago in which it was essentially saying that the Bahamas would no longer exist by the end of the century if the seas were to continue to rise at rates projected. Where do all these displaced people go? Has he thought of the dynamics of moving whole populations around at a time when land temperatures and drought may greatly reduce food production?

His show is propaganda. I have not watched it for at least a year. It has never been balanced, but at least at one time they pretended. Now, it is blatant fox-like. They should be charged fees--it is nothing more than a lengthy infomercial ala Kevin Trudeau.

Climate Change is real and ragging on Al Gore (President Al Gore?) is just so, old timey. Did they also manage to squeeze in an "Al Gore claimed to invent the internet" reference??? Hahaha...

What a bunch of asses they are.

Yeah, when there is flooding in Rubio's backyard and Pennsacola is underwater maybe these jerks might get it.

In the meantime they make stupid jokes about things they do not/cannot understand.

Dicks!!!

his tush. I think he still fancies himself to be an up and coming star of the GOP and hasn't quite come to grips with the idea that he will never be President or likely hold office again. He tries to be kingmaker but has the same problem as Bill Kristol--never picks winners. Just is wrong on so much. Kind of sad in a way to see such a pompous gasbag thinking he's so special. MSNBC could surely find a better conservative for its line up if it insists it needs one.

is coming: a generation of educated young adults who know a lot about climate change because they learned it year after year in school. Joe and other conservatives are sadly uninformed about what their own kids are learning about it every day...

I stumbled onto the show during the 2008 election.

I remember that it seemed to be positioning itself as the morning news program for people that wanted to hear an even-tempered discussion about current issues. There was some semblance of balance with Joe being the right, Mika being the left and a pretty wide bench of journalists, commentators and various other figures rotating in as the panel contributors.

Now, it a whole other animal. Contributors that used to add balance are now gone after apparently offending Joe one too many times and Mika contributes about as much to the show as a potted plant. Meanwhile you have Joe behaving like an out of control jack-ass who drank on his way to work being surrounded by a bunch of yes-men who defer to him as though he still had anything of worth to say.

It was never a great show but it was enjoyable on it's own merits. It's now just a train wreck that should be removed from the scene of the accident as soon as possible.

Only reason I can fathom that this show is still on the air despite the drastic plunge in "relative" quality since the 2012 election.

When CNN and their non-stop missing airplane coverage comes ahead of you in the ratings I would think a schedule "rethink" is in order.
