(50,414 posts)Go to "options" under "block attack sites" go to "exceptions" and copy the DU url to it. Fixed.

(39,961 posts)they added some filters that stutter when they hit certain advertisements, because the advertisers want to make SURE you see them. Disable adblock on the page and see what happens. If it works, that's your problem.
It isn't adblock or FF at fault, it's the advertisers trying to use ways to get around adblock and HTML5 that is the problem.

(50,414 posts)I'm not a computer geek, just keep trying stuff until it works.
Aerows
(39,961 posts)so I didn't have the issue, just trying to help bring light to as to the underlying cause .

(39,961 posts)and mystified some of the techs, when wearing cowboy boots, a server wouldn't come up, I kicked it, and it booted .
I'm a network engineer and I love tech so that was a fun thing for me.
Yes, I booted up a server. Literally.

(39,961 posts)At least as a test to insure that it isn't a connection issue, but a browser issue.

(1,555 posts)I've timed out a ton on my iPad even after wiping out the cache and trying with Safari and Chrome. On my laptop, DU hasn't loaded properly on Chrome, Firefox or IE since Saturday and I went through all of the normal disk clean-up and all that.
Something up...just not sure what.

(30,099 posts)Have you asked this question in AtA?..just a thought.
Aerows
(39,961 posts)Maybe it is browser related as others suggest?
Aerows
(39,961 posts)I think that may be part of the problem. It isn't FF or adblock to blame, but advertisers trying to utilize methods to make their ads show up. There has been a lot of that lately.
Turn off adblock for the site and then see if it works. If it does, that's the issue. Another adblock update will probably fix it.
