I found this while checking on something else for a post about Nebraska politics. IF Kerrey had said this a couple years ago, RED Nebraska might have put him back in his US Senate seat. Note this is from news busters.
Original story: Obama 'sucked less than Romney': Former Sen. Bob Kerrey, a DEMOCRAT, uncorks a Nebraska-sized tornado on the president, slamming him for health care lies and saying he's not up to saving Social Security: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2591304/Obama-sucked-Romney-Former-Sen-Bob-Kerrey-DEMOCRAT-uncorks-Nebraska-sized-tornado-president-slamming-Obamacare-lies-saying-hes-not-saving-Social-Security.html

Imagine if a former Republican presidential candidate and U.S. senator had called a current Republican president a delusional liar whose programs are wasteful. Would the mainstream media not be all over the story? Such a person would be interviewed at length by Wolf Blitzer on CNN as well as made the rounds of the morning talk shows and the Sunday news programs as well. The media buzz would be red hot on this topic for days extending into weeks.
Well, there is such a person but because he is a Democrat saying these things about President Obama, we can expect him to become an MSM nonperson. Such seems to already be the fate of former presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey. It is no surprise that his extended criticisms of Obama appeared in in a Daily Mail article in Britain, not in America where the shunning seems to have already begun. Here is what Kerrey has to say about Obama which you most likely won't see in any major liberal news outlet in America:
The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn't up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America's slowly choking entitlement programs.
And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked.
'He had to know he was misleading the audience,' Kerrey said quietly, recalling the newly minted president's countless promises as Congress and the public debated his signature health insurance overhaul.

(116,464 posts)He's pissed that Obama didn't join with conservatives to reform "entitlements"
He said he wouldn't have done health care reform, and he's pissed about the focus on "income inequality."
I should also point out that the original article is in a RW rag and the title of the OP is from a wingnut rag, which is tagged: "Exposing and combating liberal media bias."

(45,251 posts)You are right that in hieroglyphs the human determinative signs don't show people with weight issues.
Then there was the Cat Food Commission, cuts to fuel subsidies, proposals for chained CPI--which Pelosi denied was a cut--and the Grand Bargain Committee and the sequester, all WH initiatives.
And Conyers did say that Obama, not Boehner or Cantor, puts cuts to OASDI and Medicare on the table.

And, Obama still signs those bills that cut SNAP, aka "food stamps."
But, you know all that.
(Yeah, yeah, I know. It wasn't that he shut all that down--except the sequester-- to start campaigning for the 2012 election. It was that, all along, he was playing a genius, but utterly pointless game of 15 dimensional chess.)

(113,047 posts)and to lie, and he called it to self-delude. Moonie News had to twist his statements to claim that Kerrey specifically called Obama a self-delusional liar.
These Moonie News guys are pathetic. They wouldn't report a straight news story if it contained three words - Obama elected president.

I know Kerrey's intentions aren't the purest, but, the article goes way too far with its claim.

(45,251 posts)Someone who got banned from here recently had posted that Bill, while President, had told the marines he hated them. So, maybe those kinds of stories from the right were circulating even while he was in office?
I know religious people who claim to have switched parties after the Lewinsky thing first hit the fan. Maybe that was part of Kerrey's problem?

But, I realize the connotation that the word acquired during Bushco was very different from its literal meaning.
Just think, though, what Arabs--or anyone who is not as massively culture deficient as we are-- must think of us, when they hear us smearing a President for having gone to, gasp, school between the ages of 6 and 10. As opposed to being truant for four years?
Aaaarrggghhhh.

(45,251 posts)When did it first dawn on Kerrey that Obama's promises never had a chance of being fulfilled?
And, if Obama "sucked less" than Romney, anyway, what was the realistic choice at the polls in 2012 anyway; and what can we do about that kind of dilemma in the future?
Heaven knows, I appreciate candor for the sake of candor. And, heaven knows, I criticize Obama myself.
But Kerrey isn't some random poster on a message board. For one thing, when I criticize Obama, it doesn't hit any media whatsoever, even newsbusters. So, I think it fair to hold Kerrey to a higher standard than I hold myself.
That said, the important point is not so much what Kerrey said about Obama, but how the media reacted (or allegedly reacted).
What sucks more than even Romney? Media.

If he did kill innocent 14 Vietnamese, he was far from alone. I hasten to add that I am not saying that would make it right. But that is how that war was fought. Troops were told that even very young children aiding the enemy. We've never been good at that kind of war, except when we were the insurgents. Still aren't.

1 - Kerrey is running for President
or
2 - Kerrey will be the Hillary surrogate tasked with laying out the differences between Hillary and Obama in the most stark terms possible.

I don't care about Justin Beiber, celebrity fights/breakups/comments and public confirmations of their stupidity.
MSM is So busy discussing Rubio's climate comments distracting away from the bigger point of the actual problem.
