Operation American Spring: 5 Things To Know About The Rally To Overthrow Obama

Tomorrow, Operation American Spring will attempt to flood Washington, D.C. with Tea Party activists committed to removing President Obama from office.

“t will be painful, and some people may die because the government will not be non-violent; some of us will end up in a cell, and some may be injured,” organizer Harry Riley said, fearing that “patriots may be killed, wounded, incarcerated” in their effort to overthrow Obama.

One Operation American Spring endorser, former general Paul Vallely, has even floated leading a “revolution” against Obama.

This wouldn’t be the first right-wing rally that promised to occupy DC with millions of people until Obama leaves office, and we don’t expect tomorrow’s event to turn out any differently.

Here are five things you need to know about Operation American Spring:

1. Plans For 10-30 Million People To ‘Shut Down’ DC

(My best guess is a couple hundred will be there, and half of those will be people taping the rally fo their blogs)

2. Right-Wing Tribunal To Replace Obama After Sending Him To Gitmo

(Yeah, to hell with the hundreds of millions who voted FOR Obama and against Grampy, Caribou Barbie, Rmoney and Eddie Munster.)

3. Hoping For Militia Support Riley claims that “militias all across the nation are mobilizing ” for Operation American Spring.

(You mean the fat beer-guzzling "patriots" like at the Bundy ranch, who now are begging for money?)

4. God On Their Side Riley said Operation American Spring is “bathed in prayer” and will have divine support: “We’re bathed—it’s under God and we’re going to move up there and trust Him that it will work out because we believe it’s noble, it’s an honorable effort.”

5. Obama Might Launch A Drone Strike On Washington Terry Trussell, Operation American Spring’s chief of staff, and far-right radio host Mark Hoffmann are warning attendees to prepare for violence and possibly even a drone strike to “destroy the capital just to get rid of us.”

The guy thinks he has 30 million people who can afford to take time off work to go hang around DC for nothing? I know there are a lot of stupid people in this country, but there is no way he is going to get 3000, much less 30 million to show up and tilt at this windmill.
