Snip: Groesser said he considers the actual operating loss to be about $600,000.
“We're working on the problems to resolve that,” he said.
The problems include several events that lost the arena money: Video Games Live, Kenny G, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Martina McBride, Wynonna Judd and Bill O'Reilly.
Groesser said construction-related problems with the arena's ice and equipment, plus turnover in management, also contributed to the loss.
