since the clinton impeachment ive been a political junkie. I was pissed off that they were trying to remove a twice elected popular president that i liked. the right wing appeared to be a bunch of sore loser fucknuts.

before then i didnt give a crap about politics but that woke me up. I discovered am talk radio and crossfire and i think bartcop might have been even going back then, l loved reading that site.

ever since ive had a steady diet of 6am morning dumbass, 9am laura ingraham, 12pm rush, 3pm hannity, crossfire, hannity and colmes, o rielly, harball, lawrence o donell, if it was on radio or cable i was probably tuning in. i am able to have that freedom at work.

till about 6 months ago. i think it was morning schmoe that finally did it i got disgusted at something on there and stopped turning it on every morning while i got ready for work. instead i started listening to old howard stern shows laughing my ass off. and ill spend more time listening to music or reading or walking.

all those shows are are a bunch of stupid aholes, who have no clue what is going to happen in the next election but getting paid to tell us how its going to be. then half the time they are wrong but it doesnt matter they still keep their jobs and just roll on to the next election spreading their crap (karl rove dick morris)

so yea im done with all that for now and its been freeing in a way. im sure my blood pressure appreciates it.

tonights agenda? healthy dinner then a couple episodes of Star Wars Clone Wars season 4 then snuggling up with the kitties for bed.

I check DU and newspaper sites for news, occasionally watch Rachel. I was getting so angry, that I knew it was affecting my health.

My mind is made up -- I am a Democrat who does not need convincing about choice, climate change, evolution, income inequality etc. I also know all who are not Democrats are either greedy, stupid, racist, or highly influenced by Fox. So I don't need to watch opinion cable any more.

Instead I read the New Yorker, Atlantic, National Geographic and the like. Still like regional Public Radio sites and stations.
