TECO wants to buy NM Gas Co...good or bad for us New Mexicans??

The little I could find out, TECO has ties to ALEC, so that sounds bad. Is it? Any Duer know more than I do (which is minimal)?

It's just been that way since the 80s. It's also bad for local employees.

I hope NM Gas Co. manages to fight these guys off. The state can't afford to lose the jobs.

I see that TECO donates to ALEC, which is really bad right there.
