VA Hospital Abuses.......Where are the Veterans elected Representatives?

I ask this question, because I am old enough to remember the WWII Veterans and the Vietnam Veterans returning Home and if they were having difficulties with receiving care, they could call their elected Representatives be they Congress or Senate and state their problems. If they gained the support of their elected Representative, he/she would simply make a few calls to the right people or the Federal Facility would receive a Congressional Inquiry to investigate the problem and be required to respond within a definite time period. I have personally been witness to a few of these actions. Be they of minor or major substance the elected officials actually represented their constiutents and did their jobs. A Congressional Inquiry required that all routine tasks were placed on hold until investigation and response were completed.

Having worked both in the Private Sector and Federal Government, I have seen what good constituency Representation is and should be. We do not have this today.

Phoenix, Arizona's VA Hospital, although not being the only VA Hospital reporting abuses, apparently amped up the spot-lights on the Nationwide.....26 VA Facilites (so far) abuses.

As a voter from Arizona and having Sen. John MacCain (POW) and Sen Jeff Flake, representing the Veterans and their families who have filed complaints against the VA Facility who are charged with their care, makes me wonder, just where were John MacCain and Jeff Flake. More puzzling is why John MacCain, Senator, POW Vet, who has recieved a 100% Veterans disability because of his Nam injuries/POW, is capable of performing a full-time job, as a Senator, can and does receive red-carpet treatment in any and all Federal Medical Facilities and also Civilian facilities.....I have personally witnessed this. Where was/is John MacCain and Jeff Flake? Why are they not more supporting and vocal about the abusive treatment of their constituents?

Where have the 25 other States Representatives been hiding??? Who if anyone is actually Representing their Veteran constituency. Where and who Represents the VA Veterans in Arkansas, Wyoming, Alabama, Texas, Kansas?????
Sen Jerry Moran, Kansas, member of the Senate, VA Affairs Committee; ?????

over and over to pass legislation to address this and has been blocked by the Republican filibuster in the Senate. My advice is to go after Mitch McConnell who is the problem. I would pos a link to his website if I could. His home page is all about this issue today and has a lot of other good info as well. Google will get you there and has info to contact him.
