Can't afford pensions promised to Detroit city workers but we can afford to pay municipal bondholders off 100%.

Seems to be a pattern here. Is this the part where we are being drowned in a bathtub?

The rich want to flex their importance to the world.

The rich view Cry Baby Vets between Wars as embarrassing.

Given the average mentality of the sheep, the rich have learned to mislead and fire up the poor to engage in never ending Wars

They're cheaper that way.

Probably why they make more of a fuss at Memorial Day than Veteran's Day...!

Remember all the difficulties service members had re: getting body armor in the field, and how some families were buying dragonskin for their kids who were deployed because the military wasn't outfitting their personnel properly? There was a big scandal about "ordering" personnel to not use their own body armor, but to use the stuff they had in rotation?

And when Bush went to visit on plastic turkey day, someone STOLE HIS BODY ARMOR?

Hey, if you're not protected, you're more likely to die. If you are protected, you may lose an arm or a leg or more, but you might well live. From a GOP perspective, it's those "live ones" that cost more!!!
