They lose an exponentially greater amount of their pay and benefits for every 10 days they are not at work. We get nothing if we don't work. The only reason I think CEOs should get extra pay is that they perform extra work. My last CEO was 'on' about 20 hours a day 7 days a week. I know he deserved his money, but he wasn't greedy about it either.
