I think this is the hinge pin of the police fabrication - this "overheard" statement from Zimmerman being included in the report.

Combine this with the example of the cop correcting a witness - telling them it was Zimmerman yelling.

And there you have it...stand your ground.

It's really a simple adjustment of the evidence and makes all the difference in this case.
