Why did Rodger kill his roommates?

1. Haven't followed this that much, but I'm guessing he hated them

he seemed to have a lot of hate inside him. Maybe he felt they slighted him somehow, and had been quietly fuming about it to himself for a long time. I don't know.

He was jealous that they had women and he needed them gone to use his apartment to torture other victims.
