I've never heard the term used before. It's what my son's French teacher calls his students -- or at least his male students. I googled to see if anything came up, and I couldn't find anything.

(11,854 posts)because this guy has always been a bit wild, but lately he's been pretty disrespectful of the students, even saying they gave him the stupid kids. He's from Senegal, so is a native french speaker, but the whole year has not had the students use a workbook or textbook OR given them any homework to do. All the classwork has been done from the board and copied down. Approx. 50% of the class (and this is supposedly Honors French) is made up of kids who have not had a language at all in middle school -- through no fault of their own. They don't pick their own schedule, their courses are assigned. He's refused to let kids out of his room, even when the principal has called for him to send them down to the office. I can think of a lot of nicknames for him, but the best (and probably most polite) would be "Little Tyrant".

(39,343 posts)I used to go to a majority African American highschool and in one of my classes I was given the "nickname" of White Bread.
I realize that it was meant as a racial slur, but after a short while it became a term of endearment that the kids used in good nature.
White Bread out.

(11,854 posts)that this guy calls the girls in the class something different. When I was in 8th grade, I had one teacher keep talking about the 'girl with the headlights' which apparently was me. My Dad found out about it from another kids' parents and he went to school. The teacher apologized to me.
Of course, it may just be that this guy is an obnoxious ass, much like my health teacher in high school. He called all students "maggots".
Just did a search on Urban Dictionary for "biscuit" and the definition came up as "a gun". It suggested "Words relating to biscuit": cookie food sex soggy shit gravy butter ass cake game vagina fart chocolate gay penis tea fat fuck. Soooo, it doesn't exactly sound like a term of endearment.
