North Carolina teen severely beaten by her boyfriend over snarky texts. She required brain surgery

A North Carolina teen was severely beaten by her boyfriend after she sent snarky texts about his inability to untangle a fishing line, a witness said.

Hannah Connaway, 17, was hospitalized with serious internal injuries to her head and neck on Friday after her boyfriend, 18-year-old Michael Hutton, allegedly attacked her. Hutton's parents were out of town when he allegedly went out of control at their home in Wilmington.

Connaway was in critical condition, but has begun to improve. Connaway's Grandfather, Jerry Strickland, told WECT that the teen needed brain surgery after the assault.

"She seems a bit confused but is flashing us bright smiles. The left side of her body is still not moving like the doctors would like, but it will get there hopefully," Williams told the station.

Where girls and women are assaulted and murderedbecause men didn't like their answers to being asked out, or because they tried to leave etc. I am so angry (not sorry, but angry) that Hannah Connaway has become one of these statistics. I hopeshe gets all the help needed to recover from thos attack, both physically and mentally.

In the '80s when I had more energy and even more resources to afford more outrage, I started compiling a list just from the stats in Atlanta.

You'd have to dig way back in the guts of the paper to find a paragraph or two about the newest murdered woman.

As the clippings grew into a thick file I ended up a victim of violence myself, and I had to give up the research.


But it was depressing as hell while I was at it and no one seemed the slightest perturbed by all the carnage but the feminists.
