A lot of people accuse Brendan Eich (CTO of Mozilla and inventor of JavaScript) of homophobia. The reason? He gave $1000 to support Prop 8, a proposed law that would eliminate rights of same-sex couples to marry.

I don't use firefox because it is terrible now, but if I did I'd probably consider switching to one of the many other browser options.

I don't really have an option to replace javascript with.
