President Obama more-than-pulls off one line of an Al Green hit to pay homage to the man and brings the crowd to their feet. As if in response, Mitt reminds us what a real American does and sings the ENTIRE 1st verse of America the Beautiful off-key and leaves the crowd dumbfounded.
President Obama speaks the universal language of sign and says "Thank You" in response to a compliment from a rally attendee. Rick Santorum goes to Puerto Rico and tells Puerto Ricans to learn English.
President Obama empathizes, and, speaking to the deeper issue on everyone's mind, says "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." Gingrich, with no sympathy whatsoever and speaking to the narrow concerns of his white conservative base, calls the remarks "disgraceful" and proceeds to use false equivalency to call out the president as a racist.
Now consider the above frivolities and then consider Republican policy, the president's ability to call them out for it, and their lack of ability to explain exactly how bad it all is.
The choice is simple.
