I think you may be on to something. That would mean that a lot of these dolts on the right are bigots and racists. Shocking.

...y'know. Republican 'Family' values.

We haven't lost, I promise. If you look at things without the emotional attachment, you'll notice that we really are winning...slowly, but we're winning. We have been since the first cavewoman bonked her hubby in the head and told him to fuck off. We have been since a tough little old black lady sat on a bus. We have been since the first couple walked hand in hand down the isle and were pronounced husband and husband. We have been since the first little boy was proud to say "I have two moms."

Take a deep breath and don't let the negative swallow you. I let that happen once and it took me almost 20 years to come back. When I finally did, I noticed all the good that had been going on since I thought it was all over.

In my late teens/early twenties I was involved in several organizations. Donating time, money and a helluva lot of emotion. All that while being a single mom. I became so frustrated because I didn't seen anything happening. Money was God and I (thought) I couldn't fight it.

Every vote, every dime, every minute counts. A baby step is still a step and a string of them will get us to our destination.

Take a break if you need it, but never give up.
