I have heard chickens make great pets. This video seems to demonstrate that. But I wonder if they can be house trained.

living in our house with us, she would have been trained. Alas, they just don't seem to be aware of when they need to poop.

They seem too wary of the hens to compete effectively.

I used to have a house hen (my very last chicken) and we had regular soccer matches with her and three of our kitties. The object was a homemade hacky sack with catnip sewn up inside, and the excitement on the field was palpable when that ball was thrown down. If only I'd had a video...

(my Henny Penny always slipped and slid when running on linoleum, so I'll give those chickens that, ha!)
