I find it interesting that the FTC singled out T-Mobile for something all carriers have done

First, T-Mobile is guilty as charged. Back in 2010, I spent several months going back and forth with T-Mobile over 3rd party charges that kept reappearing on my bill. Ultimately, I blamed my brother and kicked him off my plan and then switched carriers. I'm now back with T-Mobile and the difference between now and 2010 is like night and day. Turns out, the CEO who was there at the time was fired back in 2012.

Fast forward to 2014 and T-Mobile is the only post-paid carrier that is moving in the right direction as as costs, contracts, and data allowances (free international data roaming and now free music streaming from most of the music services). They're even offering to pay EFTs for customers switching from their competitors. I wouldn't be surprised if Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint lobbyists played a role in the investigation and ruling.
