9. Many of us do not hate Obama

but we disagree with some of the worst policies ever placed on America. Obama is not progressive...he is owned by his corporate masters. He has not led the country as people who voted for him expected. He ran against loser candidates because the republican party has no other kind of national candidate. So, I think the tone of your post is wrong...and sad. I am very sad for an America which I find dangerous to drive through...an America where the middle class and working people have been decimated. I feel sad for an America I left because a war-monger was elected to lead the country...Cheney. I trust that not too many Americans will be shot to death during the celebration of America's birth.

Who else has been more friendly to minority voters than Obama? Nobody. Many of you DO hate Obama, I have to work with people that would not vote for another person just because of their skin color. Granted this is south Texas, but they HATE him...so I really don't buy the BS that Obama is not hated...he IS hated and if you listen to some here, he gets hated on daily in GD.

I voted for him and he has done a great job, I have my issues with him - but that was in his first term. He has a calm head on his shoulders and didn't start WWIII like YOUR party if famous for doing - that is if you representing the GOP as your opening title claims.

Almost every aspect in America has improved since Bush Jr. destroyed most of the national infrastructure. Some of it is still in shambles and might never be fixed. You never get exactly what you want...but Obama is the best we've had so far or at least in my lifetime.

You pick a strange thing to worry about on the 4th of July...why so serious it is a holiday?

I won't list all his criminal tactics...killing innocent people with drones, or his sell-out to corporations...ACA turning profits for his friends in the insurance industry, or his participation in TPP...the future big disaster coming to America, or his support for the fossil fuel industry...drill, baby drill. Frack the hell out of Mother Earth while ignoring clean energy. No need to speak truth to Obama Cheer-leaders. Now, the Dems can work on a worse presidential choice...Hillary, send money, Clinton...more of a corporate lobbyist that BO. I am an American...I choose to live in a better place, Canada...but I still vote as an Independent.

I voted for him...simple reason, Republican candidates were far worse. Has he helped anyone other than the 1%? Not so much. You are welcome to this man who has paid his dues to the corporations at the expense of taxpayers like you. He sure as hell has not done a great job...piss-poor fits his performance. Check our his new NSA building for holding illegal snooping of the world...its in Utah.

The 4th of July is a celebration of death and destruction. Eat hot dogs, get drunk, explode some more fireworks.

He has helped the gay community, women and other minorities more than any other POTUS. How can you be blind to his progressive decisions over the years...they are big moves to the left.

I was once kinda like you, in his first term I watched BP walk all over the South and was not to impressed. After another term and many years later, I am impressed with his continuing help to minorities and parts of the nation hurt worst by the GOP. I am also amazed he can work without the help from half of Congress and a SCOTUS that is far more corporate suit then the law allows.

He's done a lot of good, far more than any other POTUS in contemporary times.

Check out who controls everything, if you want to argue that then yes...we live in a nation controlled by big corporations - and still the POTUS has pushed forward a social progressive agenda. Denied the war hawks in both parties a war with Russia and seems to understand species survival is important.

He is a very good & powerful leader and that drives a certain type CRAZY. They have an irrational hatred for the man and lack the ability to have a constructive argument.
