Y'all Grinched me today. Thanks.,

When I tweeted that I needed help the response was so quick and from so many people, my heart grew several sizes. Hearts tend to shrink when people are fretting and I am a world class fretter.

I was overwhelmed because I feel so crotchety and I know it carries over too much on DU. When
I get scrunched up, my world narrows and it's hard to find the humor I need. Humor and kindness can unscrunch people.(Most GOPeas are scrunched down to the size of electrons if that.)

DU is a rambunctious place to say the least. However, when it comes to helping animals or stepping up when others are in trouble, DU shines. Freepers have gator arms and don't know how to reach out.

BTW I told Moonpie and Tater about y'all. They yawned and wanted to know when they were getting a new toy and fresh treats.

(well, paws) since the first time I laid eyes on them. Drat! That happens every time I get a new one. I must be a world class pushover. Before Brigid came along and elbowed her way into both our hearts, Molly Maguire used to sit on my lap and have me hand her each morsel from her food bowl and put it directly in her mouth. That was one of the first tricks she taught me, only not the last. She was lonesome for a playmate who could keep up with her better than an old lady, so she guilted me into getting her a sister. She's perfectly capable of wild tussels with her now-much-bigger sister, but when it's time for them to come in, Molly expects me to go out in the yard to pick her up and carry her back indoors in my arms.

I'm beginning to see a trend here....
