there's 4 American presidents. Two owned slaves, one ended slavery and one was the last decent Republican ever born.

A lot of insidious anger has seeped into their souls.

Cloaked in claims of principle which give cover to primitive hatreds and long-simmering resentment of progress.

was finally created by Obama's executive order last month! Sally Jewell came out to survey the area and I was really
shocked that it was declared so quickly after her visit!

I see the Organs from my backyard...I am so relieved that a motel won't be built on their slopes! Much chatter about how our local jackass Republican rep, Steve Pearce, was doing all the could to screw the deal up. With his oil background, lots of people thought he'd be hoping for fracking rights....A huge area as been protected...ancient sites, rock drawings, dinosaur tracks, etc.

This was once the bottom of huge sea and it is so awesome to drive a very short way into the foothills and simply see this vast land and hear true silence....PRECIOUS!

"Cherish" is an emotional response, and a good one. I suppose.

"Do not let..." is not.

I'll bet 50% of you don't know the difference and 99% of you won't do anything about it.

Prove me wrong. Please, I want you to.

Teddy Roosevelt said that before cable TV. Now it's just to hard to take on battles against greedy interests because you have to catch the latest episode of Real Housewives of Wherever.
