We should LEARN from our passivity then, as a new corporate Democrat pushes the even more predatory TPP and TISA.

We look at the poverty and the miserable conditions workers in other countries are forced to endure, and we don't think it can happen here. But these trade agreements are exactly what's necessary in order for corporations to make it happen here. Corporations have looted entire countries and impoverished entire populations for profit. We aren't special to them. They are buying our government and pushing agreements like this, that dismantle and allow corporations to overrule the very systems and democratic protections that have *kept* them from doing it here.
