Just as I figured, "leader" of the Murietta bigots is a far-right kook.

Murrieta Pitchfork Brigade Leader Patrice Lynes Tied To Birchers, Other Extremists

When stories of protests over undocumented immigrants spring up in the news and those stories emanate out of Murietta, California, count on the involvement of patriot groups and extreme political factions. Murietta and neighboring Temecula are enclaves for right-wing extremists and wineries alike.

It should, therefore, come as no surprise to discover that Temecula resident Patrice Lynes organized and promoted the hate protests that turned buses back earlier this week.

Breitbart News is hailing Lynes as a heroine and a good citizen, citing her concern for public health as the reason for her protests. We beg to differ.

2007: Conservative Exodus Project

Lynes' signature on the Conservative Exodus Project petition in 2007 endorses long-held Birch principles. The petition was begun as a message to the Republican party: True "conservatives" would not brook liberal candidates like John McCain or Rudolf Guiliani. This is the petition Lynes signed:

of right-wing nutcase groups. Temecula, Murrieta, and other communities in that area are bizarre, overall.
