I have heard that term about 50 times this morning concerning Obama's shooting pool in Colorado. Boy, the republicans follow the daily meme astutely.

Democrats understand that Repubs are much better at it. There is a deficiency in communication within Democratic Party.

Doesn't own or control any of the corporate media. Who gives a rip what they think about optics.
Do they care about the optics of congress sitting on their hands while 90% of Americans want background checks for gun purchases.

8. I think it's more about Republicans deciding to make everything into a

hysteria-inducing scandal or crisis, and the media adopting that viewpoint to whip up the frenzy for ratings. They use the word "crisis" after everything. The Ukraine crisis. The Iraq crisis. Neither of those has affected anyone in America, it's just the usual bad shit that happens sometimes overseas, but it's Obama's fault and a crisis for US, somehow. The immigration thing is a problem that needs to be dealt with, but it's not going to to be resolved overnight. The VA problem is a true scandal, but one that's been brewing for years if not decades, and also won't be resolved overnight. These are all problems of the sort that all Presidents have dealt with, but the frenzied attempts to turn these things into OMG OBAMA CATASTROPHES!! is Repub framing and a complicit media running with it.
