Romney: 'Yes' Women Should Be Admitted To Augusta Golf Club

Asked whether women should be admitted to the all-male Augusta National Golf Club, Mitt Romney on Thursday said "yes."

"Certainly if I were a member and if I could run Augusta ...of course I'd have women," Romney added.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney on Thursday said that President Obama believes women should be admitted to the club.

Looks like Romney is trying to win back women.

Romney believes women should not have a right to privacy when it comes to their own bodies, their own decisions, should not have the right to birth control, etc, etc, but, damn they SHOULD NOT be discriminated against when it comes to golf?!? Total disconnect here and a breathtakingly pathetic attempt to do an "Etch-A-Sketch" revision but only when it relates to discrimination in golf.

when he makes a statement in support of something that stands zero chance of ever occurring. How about a real law or policy that affects millions of women, Mitt?

'Cause that pretty much obligates him to take the exact opposite position.
