Why isn't he or any of his tea freaks who threatened Federal Agents in prison?
Doesn't this send the message it's okay?

I think the Ruby Ridge and Waco disasters put a damper on treating these enclaves of ignorance and intolerance, like the Gaza Strip.

(7,808 posts)I live in Las Vegas. The only thing we've seen so far is a couple of his thug acolytes murder a couple cops and a Walmart shopper before committing suicide. Recently, the Clark County sheriff said maybe he should do something... some day...
I really would like to know if something is going on in the background to bring the criminal militia to justice. Why are they allowed to point weapons at federal officers performing their duty - with no consequences that anyone can see yet.

(14,093 posts)as long as he doesn't violate state/county laws, I would think there's not much the County Sheriff can do. The Feds need to get to him.

(4,840 posts)backed down is solid evidence that the government the ReThugs always claim wants to be oppressive and dictatorial really just doesn't want to be. At least not in that area. They just want people to play by the rules so the nation can function with some semblance of sanity and order. But the Bundy people want a fight. And if you're truly not looking for a fight, you walk away the first couple of times. Give the aggressor a chance to be reasonable. If they keep pushing it, you will be more than within your right to push back.
