This Story Of A Dog’s Last Day On Earth Is Beautiful And Utterly Heartbreaking

http://www.buzzfeed.com/alanwhite/this-story-of-a-dogs-last-day-on-earth-is-beautiful-and-hear?bffb

I Died Today. By Duke Roberts.

And I ate a lot of hamburgers. We had a party.

And I laughed.

And I thought about how much I’m going to miss it here.

We told jokes.

***And here’s Dukey’s adoption video from three years ago

who thinks Sundays are sad. They always get to me, and I find myself humming Kris Kristofferson's "Sunday Morning Coming Down".

Hang in there, Snotcicles, it won't come around again for another six days.

I miss my girls so much. Yet, it's always Heartwarming to know that others consider their furbabies true family members.

God I miss my dogs so much, the dearly departed and the ones that are at home, oblivious as to where lady human has gone (I'm on a three month research trip).

Dogs are simply the best and their lives are not near long enough.

I wish I hadn't clicked on this thread.

I'm a puddle. I knew I was going to bawl, but my love of dogs took over. Lord, how I miss my precious "Nathaniel" (named for Hawthorne), a twelve and a half year old bichon that went to the Rainbow Bridge December 10, 2012. He was my best buddy and showed me constant and unconditional love. I think he read my feelings more than any human ever has. I miss him each and every day.

Thank goodness sweet Duke had a good and loving family. I don't know how they kept it together for his final day, but I am glad they did.

RIP, Duke

I know that dogs can't live forever, but I just can't bear it when they have to go. I think they are the most wonderful creatures in the world. I wish they could live forever. Poor baby!
