Militarize the border? So the refugee claimants can turn themselves in easier? I favor it then.

What part of.....that these people are seeking asylum, they WANT to be detained do people on this side of the border not understand? It is the entire goal of the exodus. They are entitled by law and international convention to detention and a hearing.

Duh!

And the law that Obama must enforce, (ironically the defendant in a lawsuit that he is not enforcing laws enough) is that anyone seeking asylum from these war torn countries, of which they have brought proof they are citizens by the way, almost every one...... so they MUST be detained and can not be turned back.

If more bodies on the border makes the detention easier for the refugees when they finally reach the border after their brutal journey, why not!

Double Duh!

We need more lawyers on the TV shows, actual non celebrity immigration law lawyers, must be hard to find one I guess.....

I agree, as long as the refugees are taken in and not deported to their homelands Louisiana1976 Jul 2014 #1
That is the law. Refugee law is well established in America and by international treaty. Fred Sanders Jul 2014 #2
