I've been collecting some graphics for the march on Washington for equal rights. I thought I'd share some of them here. Please help spread the word. You can use these graphics on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, etc., or go old school and print them out and post them where a lot of people will see them.
You can also find more info and graphics on the We Are Women Pinterest page here: http://www.pinterest.com/jennisiri/we-are-woman/ or their website: http://www.wearewoman.us/ . I also started a Pinterest page where I am collecting graphics and info on the march plus the Hobby Lobby case and boycott, 2014 Get Out The Vote efforts and other things related to Women's Rights: http://www.pinterest.com/craft4equality/

Video I just posted in my OP~
Let One Voice Emerge
Let's do it Women!
Thanks pamela!
I just saw your thread after I posted this. This Hobby Lobby decision has me spitting nails! My husband and I are going to the march and I'm doing everything I can to spread the word. I'm concentrating on Pinterest because they get over a million visitors a day, 68% of whom are women. We need to be heard!
Thanks again!
That is one moving and inspiring music video!
Let One Voice Emerge!
Peace!

(83,728 posts)I saw below you are going to Washington with your daughter. I want to, yet I doubt that I can scrape together the funds.

(4,309 posts)We live in Baltimore, so a trip to DC is not difficult for us.
My daughter's first demonstration was the 2004 March For Women's Lives, back when Bush was in office. She was 14.
I think it is very sad that we are still fighting 10 years later but we are committed and very proud to stand up for women's rights.

(3,469 posts)I'm in New Mexico now but I'm heading to Maryland for a wedding in September. I'm going to try to time my visit to make the march. This is so important.

(4,309 posts)I've been thinking for a long time that we really need something like this. I'll do everything I can to spread the word. My daughter and I will be there.
Everyone tell your family, friends and co-workers about this. This is VERY important!

(3,469 posts)That's great that you and your daughter are going to be there. Thanks for helping to spread the word. Since you're in Baltimore, that's particularly helpful because it's close enough for people to get there relatively easily. I think I'll post some info in the Md, Va, Pa, etc state groups as the date gets closer.

(28,394 posts)I joined... hopefully there will be a bus from this area. I wouldn't try to drive to or in DC.

(4,309 posts)I hope there is a bus for you. If not, DC Metro is very easy to navigate and will get you within easy walking distance to the protest site.
