The far right’s anti-government rhetoric is not slowing down. Visiting Alan Colmes’ radio show this week, Mike Vanderboegh, a member of the Three Percent (a self described patriot group), made the claim that “patriots” need to vote with their guns.
This is a rather alarming and scary proclamation, but is this is not unlike Vanderboegh to use such threatening rhetoric.
Vanderboegh, who is no fan of Colmes, said on the show, “If you don’t want to fight, get out of our face. [...] All we want is to be left alone, Alan, take your nanny state government, take your supposed good intentions that you wrap around this iron fist, take it and shove it.”
Colmes calmly responded, “The people you are calling tyrants were elected as part of due process in a representative government. Why don’t you run for office and show us the way it’s supposed to be done?…These are not dictators. We elected Barack Obama.”
Vanderboegh replied saying, “Then go ahead and enforce your laws and watch what happens.” “Your laws are unconstitutional. Somebody is gonna get shot,” he insisted
