The GOP and Climate change.

Chris Christie (on CNBC) just made me realize why republicans don't "believe" in climate change. Christie was going on about job growth in New Jersey and of course taking credit for it. A lot of that job growth is repairing the damage of Hurricane Sandy.

For republicans, dealing with the damage due to climate change is a jobs program. Climate change saves them from actually having to come up with a plan.

They are in a state of denial because they know that the only solution to the problem is a massive, world-wide, program of government intervention and regulation.
