CNN Contributor Erick Erickson: ‘I Kind Of Like The Idea That Women Aren’t Members Of The Masters’

ERICKSON: Who cares? Who cares that she wasn’t invited into the club? She’s a woman — women aren’t allowed! …. It is striking to me just how political the president wants to make everything. The war on women coming home to The Masters. Who freakin’ cares? [...]

I don’t care that The Masters are a male-dominated event. I don’t care that women aren’t members of The Masters. Frankly, I kind of like the idea that women aren’t members of The Masters. Good Lord, I don’t want to be hanging out at some women’s event! Can’t men go anywhere and just be men? There are plenty of places where women can be women. … You know what Mr. President, why don’t you just leave the partisanship out of golf?!

Name them. Just because men don't go to or enjoy certain places doesn't mean there are bylaws that specifically prohibit it. I guess his comments would apply just as well to racist clubs. What clubs can whites go to to just be white? Chances are if you can't do it out in the open, you shouldn't be doing it at all.

How many business deals and networking go on at golf clubs? Why should women be excluded from that?

rhetorical question--it's because the media is in the tank for liberals, of course!

I have a theory about guys like Eric Erickson and Rush Limbaugh. They were not well liked as children and they couldn't understand why the girls didn't like them. So they blamed it on the smart kids and the minorities, however they were also big time jock sniffers because they knew that the pretty girls hung out with the jocks. Then they went to college and thought things would change and it didn't because they never figured out that it was their personality that turned off girls. You look at Rush Limbaugh and who had he always picked on, the smart guys, the smart/strong women, the minorities. The one thing that Rush did figure out was that money/power is the worlds greatest aphrodisiac. Take away the microphone from Rush and what do you have left, Jabba the Hut. On a different note while I disagree with the Masters ban on women they are a private club and they do not get any money from the state or federal government. Their membership list is private and other then the one week that the tournament is held there no one utters a peep about the place at all.

in fact, let's do it!
"I don’t care that The Klan Rallies are a white-dominated event. I don’t care that blacks aren’t members of The Klan. Frankly, I kind of like the idea that blacks aren’t members of The Klan. Good Lord, I don’t want to be hanging out at some blacks event! Can’t whites go anywhere and just be whites? There are plenty of places where blacks can be blacks. … You know what Mr. President, why don’t you just leave the partisanship out of racism?!"

Maybe it's just my opinion, but Mr. Erickson seems like a stupid jackass.
