The Ukrainian government said on Saturday that it had proof that Russia had provided the surface-to-air missile system that shot down a Malaysia Airlines passenger jet over eastern Ukraine on Thursday, killing all 298 people aboard. . . .

Ukraine also accused Russia and separatist rebels in the east of trying to cover up their role by blocking recovery workers from the crash site, removing evidence and driving three missile launchers back to Russia just hours after the crash. . . .

I recognize that stretch of road and the unique chimney on that house.

Why do they bother to use photos like this anyway? I am not supporting or denouncing anyone's claims here, just asking why we always seem to assume the photo proves it.

No, I get what you mean. Yes, a single photo isn't proof of anything. But there is enough evidence without it.

Had not been considering them to have been in reverse. And yes, evidence is useful in determining things not matter how often it is overlooked.

OUT THERE

What I have found edgineered,
is that lots of stuff gets harder to find after a few days of political cleansing
So, I post early and often on these stories if i can.

I process slow too, so give me a week or two to try and piece this together....and add more STUFF,

Of course I need help - SO, What do YOU think happened?

Peace, kp

One of the things I've found interesting in the past few days has been when the US media reports on information they note that they have not verified, and attribute to the government of Ukraine. That information has come almost exclusively from US intelligence sources; for a number of reasons, the US provides it to those in Ukraine, who then make it public.
