Sea turtle 'hugs' surfer who cut it free from nets (Video at the link)

Did a sea turtle “hug” a surfer who rescued it from fishing nets? Call it what you will, but the moment caught by a GoPro camera on the stunning video shows there was a connection there.

When kite surfer Cameron Dietrich and Colin Sutton spotted the distressed sea turtle off the Mexican coast, they quickly dived in the ocean to try to rescue it.

“When I saw the turtle tangled up I jumped in the water and began to cut it free,” Dietrich told MailOnline. 'It was totally worn out from fighting for its life for the last probably 12 to 20 hours.”

Using a dive knife, Dietrich carefully cut away the tangle of rope and netting that had wrapped itself around a front fin, while Sutton helped the turtle to float.

<<we all want to be happy and avoid pain---the tea partiers just don't know how to go about it>>

This is more profound than you know. Thinking how to do good for ourselves in personal matters and for others is important in public policy (churches, priests, pastors, et al., claim, but often fail).

and leads to that we are all the same. What I feel in any given moment is felt by others, whether pain or pleasure.

The video clearly says they were spear fishing for tuna, not kite surfing.

Believe me, there was a time when they supported the corruption in Central Florida and endorsed crooked politicians at the same time that they kept information out of the news which would have prevented those politicians from winning second terms.

So, who is dickering about spear fishing for tuna or kite surfing. At least they identified the turtle right.

A century ago, humans would have killed these animals for food or sport. Today, it seems that humans, at least some of us, have evolved beyond that point.

Now we just need to cut carbon pollution so Nature can begin restoring the oceans.
