but when we complain about jobs leaving the country, we are basically saying we deserve those jobs more than them.

that they wanted the jobs to start with?

Western centrist attitude. American exceptionalism at it's best. Many countries were doing just fine without our economic invasion. Have you ever read "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" ?

we call "Mexico" seem to want a job, or at least money. Many take great risks to get the jobs.

I think the number would be very small, if any.

The reason you see what you see is because we have done what we have done in regards to western globalization.

edit - It is a strange idea that we should do more globalization to fix the issues caused by globalization.

Your guess seems reasonable to me, but I don't know.

I think the issue is caused by capitalism.

Built here for here. Built here to trade equally. Lift all boats with a rising tide.

The current strategy is to sink all boats with a global tsunami of profit for the few.

Bureaucracy can be a very handy tool, but why should it divide us into groups, such as "Americans" or "Mexicans?"

Looks that way to me too.

I want human labor building products for human consumption. Geographical-based identities just seems to lead to mistreatment of our fellow humans. The social construct of countries can be very convenient, but the cons seem to outweigh the pros.

That would be my edit.

I'm betting that within the cliques of the .01% many would cast 2/3 of their "friends" into the pool. We've come full circle once again, the very elite and everyone else. Everyone else being not a member of the top 100 families.

farfetched at all when you look at how much money is dumped into wars versus programs like public education and health care, and how some people in power (Republicans) have been hesitating to raise the minimum wage and strengthen environmental standards.
