We Have a Winner
This is quite possibly the most moronic non-scandal in history, and Dear Lord, there’s competition. I’m amazed that even Politico fell for it. The scandal is that a Jewish Congresswoman (who’s also head of the DNC) hired a Jewish staffer who, years ago, with other Jewish friends, made jokes about Jews that appeared on her Facebook page. And because of this President Obama hates Israel and wants it to be plowed under by Iran. And also make the memory of Golda Meir wear a hijab. As Socrates* said, life is hard. Especially if you’re stupid.

A Jewish staffer of Jewish DNC chair Wasserman-Schulz posted something she thought was funny about she and her Jewish friends (and a parody of antisemetic steryotypes, by the way) on facebook a long time ago, when she was in college in 2006.

In one photo, Gilbert is seen kissing paper currency of undetermined denomination. The caption at the bottom of the photo reads “JEWBAGS.” A comment left on the posting refers to Gilbert and a coterie of female companions as the “Jew cash money team.” Other photos depict Gilbert as a bit of a party girl, including one featuring an assortment of condoms.

That young woman was later hired by Wasserman-Schultz as a liaison to the Jewish community. Her parents (also Jews, surprisingly) are big fund-raisers for Democrats... Dum-dum-dahhhh!

It's a dog-whistle so flat I can't even begin to guess who is supposed to hear the thing.

Is the message that "You just can't trust Jews with Israel's security?" Perhaps the message is, "Jews use contraception."

Or is the the message, "complaining about supposed anti-semitism offers RW types an opportunity to say "Jew" a brazillion times while talking about Obama?" (Most Kenyan communists are noted Jewsh anti-semites, after all...)

Maybe the Mormon's have posthoumously converted so many Jews that they are now the go-to group on what constitutes anti-Semiticsm.


Yes, I know that the RW loves to attribute all their various racisms and sexism to Democrats, but this is weak even by RW standards.

But it's a very serious scandal, by golly. Has to be read to be believed.

2. I think it is a big deal because the media is making it one.

The democrats should refuse to play along by even commenting on it except to say the standards to judge racism and sexism have been set to low by the likes of Limbaugh, O'Reilly and friends that this is a non-event.
