The female Palestinian journalist who blasted MSNBC was just on Chris Hayes

I'm sorry, but I don't recall her name. I was glad to see that he had her on when I read earlier that some of her appearances were being canceled.

A lot was going on around my house, but I settled down to watch the interview. Unfortunately, I joined it in progress and missed the beginning. Even as I watched, I was distracted by "life" and wasn't able to devote my full attention. However, I wanted to hear what she had to say, and CH kept interrupting her. The more I watched, the more frantic the poor lady became, desperate to finish a sentence. She was not allowed to while I was watching.

So what, is Chris auditioning for tweety's throne as TV's worst interrupter of all time now?
Confusing....I have never noticed him acting like this before.

I was distracted for a while again, but then I looked up to Lawrence Tribe being interviewed. Could not hear what was being said (again "life" kept getting in the way), but I did notice that Mr. Tribe talked, uninterrupted for quite a while. They even cut to CH listening and nodding with his mouth closed for several seconds. It appeared to me that he treated the two guests completely differently.

Did anyone else watch, and what was your impression?

They were getting flack from their viewers and needed to save face.

but seems to lose all stamina when he has confrontational or hostile guests on. They get to talk non-stop.

I'll start by saying I absolutely admire her and support her outrage. But she employed the tried and true "never reach the end of a sentence" method, giving Hayes no alternative, if he wanted to have a conversation and not just give her a chance to say the same thing she had said before, but to interrupt her.

I'd like to see an actual debate on the topic, with citations (which they did a little) and time when each side made a point and then sat back and listened.

I was thinking about her perspective and I think it's both true and so historically enmeshed with our pro-Israel identity as a country that she's probably had it up to here with the whole thing.

Then they do it in groups so those precious seconds include three people all yelling simultaneously.

intro for a very long time. You must have missed it. Then he gave her a second run. It looks like his typical energy. He is very respectful of her. She is firm. He is animated. He is giving her lots of time.

What still stands out for me is that Chris kept saying that he could not get anyone from Hamas to agree to be interviewed. That does not explain why he or the rest of the media don't seek other sources, such as Palestinian activists or scholars. I'm still disappointed in the segment.
