1. So what should we do about GOP legislation in red states which limit a woman's right to choose?

Clinics are being forced to close because of so many new restrictions since 2010.

What about the GOP blocking efforts to increase the minimum wage? Should we not fight the GOP on that either?

I suppose we shouldn't fight GOP voter suppression efforts which target African Americans.

I mean, as the toon suggests, we don't want to "fight amongst each other."

2. It means

That those in power create divides between the people in this world and then rob them blind.

For instance, "teh gays" during the 2000 election season.

Or socialism / Kenya when talking about the President.

Monica when talking about President Clinton.

Chappaquiddick when talking about Teddy Kennedy.

Or on the larger scale...

The manifestation of racism in this country by tricking white poor people into thinking that they need to suppress Black people or else.

Or maintaining the status quo by social stigma when women show interest in science.

That all gay people and atheists are evil immoral beings because they're different than you.

Those in power use divide and conquer. United we stand, divided we fall. We must, indeed, all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately. Etc.

This has nothing to do with combating bull shit. In fact, it is saying just that. We must combat bullshit.
