Delusions of persecution

If your god is worshiped on the currency, you are not being persecuted.
If every President of the country has self identified as christian and was sworn in on your holy book (bible), you are not being persecuted.
If criminal and civil courts require participants take an oath to your god, you are not being persecuted.
If your god is sung to during sporting events (God Bless America during the 7th inn stretch), you are not being persecuted.
If your holy book can be found in the nightstand of every hotel room in the land, you are not being persecuted.
If local, state, and federal government proceedings start with a prayer to your god, you are not being persecuted.

The Spanish Inquisition was religious persecution.
The Salem Witch trials were religious persecution.
Romans feeding christians to the lion in the coliseum was persecution.

No one is persecuting christians. I wish they would stop acting so defensive.

We can debate points all day long, but we have to agree that christians are not being persecuted (aside from my talking shit about them- and that in and of itself is not persecution)
