GOoPers Think the Bible Has It Wrong.

They think that Jesus actually said, "Suffer, little children; Don't come to me." not "Suffer little children to come unto me."

They make lots of mistakes like that when reading in the Bible, particularly in Matthew.

It's the only explanation I can think of. Pesky old Elizabethan English with so many different meanings for words.

I've always found fundamentalists who insist that the King James Version is the only true version to be interesting. Most of the ones I have met can't read that language with any sort of real understanding in the first place. I've met few fundamentalists who can actually read the newspaper and understand it, much less an entire book written in Elizabethan English.
