They never have, they have hated everybody but their own tiny little group all along.

I am reminded by my African American friends from time to time that the racism against Obama and others is absolutely nothing new, absolutely not limited to The South, and while some advances have been made, not nearly enough.

I think us white folks like to pat ourselves on the back for voting, twice, for a Black man, especially in the face of such opposition.

Doing the right thing, whether caring for refugees or voting for the best person regardless of race or gender, is not something we should pat ourselves on the back for, it is the very least expected from us.

statement is intensely controversial. I thought he was talking about Gaza, turns out it's about the SW USA.

crossing it. These refugees should not be deported because that would be returning them to the lands where they kill children.

Yes, there are a handful of DU posters defending the deliberate slaughter of hundreds of children. WTF?

Or a thousand eyes for an eye?

Thou shalt not kill.

Violence is not to be celebrated. It is to be abhorred.

Prison for men who place caterpillars on their faces and pretend they are eyebrows. Also, Senators who place muskrats upon their heads and pretend they are hair, Rand Paul.

That's what all these nationalistic and territorial fights boil down to, somebody thinks another handful of dirt justifies killing children.

Killing for revenge is even worse. They want to retaliate for this, the other side wants to retaliate for that, and nobody, not one soul on this Earth, thinks either side will ever say, "Oh, okay, I guess we're even now."
