At least this time, no one else was hurt.
Just the gunman, by his own hand.

Marinette County - The Marinette County sheriff says a driver shot at another car on Highway 141, and then shot at police during a high-speed chase on Highway 8 Thursday afternoon, but the gunman was the only casualty.
According to the sheriff: The first shot was fired at a car on US 141 south of Wausaukee shortly before 3 o'clock. The people in the car called 911 and followed the suspect's SUV. The SUV got behind them and shot at them again.
Two sheriff's squad cars gave chase. The SUV continued north on 141, crossing the center line and facing oncoming traffic. The driver -- who's only being identified as a 35-year-old Green Bay man -- turned west on Highway 8 and fired at the squad cars with a handgun.
Deputies lost sight of the SUV on Shrine Road in Goodman, but believed it turned onto a two-rut road. Officers surrounded the area, while an armored vehicle and Bearcats from other police agencies were brought in.
The team in the first armored vehicle spotted the suspect's SUV, then saw the suspect laying face-down beside it. He was dead from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot.
